Thronecoming Fay

Ball gowns always seem like a great idea until you're actually working on the drawing and you realize how long this thing is going to take you to finish. (It probably would have been a lot faster if I wasn't going on and off of working on this for months, though....)

Anyways, here's Fay Fairer's Thronecoming dress! (I know that the Thronecoming line draws inspiration for the outfits from the characters' pets, but Fay's pets are a cat and a dog, which isn't super interesting... so let's just pretend that she has a butterfly for a pet. Or that her flowers in her tiny little window box are her pets, m'kay?) This ball gown dress is more on the cooler half of the rainbow in terms of colours, but when I do her Legacy Day outfit, it's going to have the warmer colours of the rainbow, so together her big poofy dresses will cover all the colours! Yay! 

Also, I realized that the Thronecoming box art from the dolls sorta matched the colours that I was using for Fay's outfit, so I had to try to recreate it for this background. Matchy-matchy.
